School Board OKs Raises for Teachers, Non-Represented 员工

The 长滩 Unified School District 教育委员会 unanimously approved contract agreements with the Teachers Association of 长滩 this week for 2019-20 and 2020-21, 提供持续的, one-time and retroactive salary increases. The board also approved the same salary increases for non-represented employees, including managers.

The board’s approval comes after TALB members in the K-12 unit recently approved the agreements with a yes vote of more than 81 percent, while 儿童发展/头开始 unit members approved by more than 93 percent.

Qualifying employees will receive an ongoing salary increase of 1% for 2019-20, and an ongoing 2% increase for 2020-21. The 2019-20 raise is 追溯至七月一日, 2019. • July 1 – ongoing raises reflected on regular paychecks as the new fiscal year begins
